Current overall leader. Complete kit with approach, control, and conversion tools that survived the Whirlpool nerf and the shared-cooldown rules.

Consistent all-rounder. Counter answers skills and M1s, strong burst, and reliable strings that work in both PvE and PvP.

Rengu · House by the long red bridge out of Mistfall Village

Highest technical combo ceiling. Fast startups and strong extensions reward clean execution more than any other style.

Saneri · Snow biome platform in the water

Still strong but no longer the uncontested #1. Faster casts and longer finishing stuns recovered some ground after the earlier nerfs.

Zentaro · Mountain route past the bear area

Mobility and extended hitboxes. Still excellent for open-world packs and remains a strong first style.

Obari · Cliff north of Windy Peak

Control and lock-down. Sound still holds packs well, though the earlier sustain rework and shared counters reduced its tankiness.

Tengai · Iceveil Valley

Hyper armor and committed swings. Stone wins trades that mobile styles would rather dodge.

Gyorei · Lower path from the bear area

Poke, status, and spacing. More execution-heavy after i-frame and confirm changes; still viable but no longer a free A.
