How to Become a Demon

Choosing Demon at character creation does not skip the quest. Blood Demon Arts, sun-safe farming, and Demon Progress all sit behind the transformation. There is no level gate. There is a reputation gate.

Dropping reputation fast

• Civilians in the starter village: −1 each. Only NPCs named Civilian — skip starred quest civilians and named quest givers.
• Mizunoto slayers near Butterfly Estate and Seasons Crossing: −9 each. About five kills if you can win the fights.
• Snow-zone slayer patrols in Iceveil Settlement work if you already have movement nodes.

Find Muzan at night

He rotates between Mistfall Harbor, Hidden Mist Village, and Iceveil Valley, and only after dark. Harbor is the easiest sweep from Windy Peak: west gate, down the slope, shrine tunnel, then right and through the trees toward the two-tower shrine gate.

The two objectives

1. 01

   Take the Biwa Bell

   Talk to Muzan, accept, and use the bell to enter his lair. You will keep this bell as your return item after the transformation.

2. 02

   Deliver Dr. Higoshima

   Capture the doctor and carry him to the marked safe zone. Slayer spawns will try to ruin the walk. This can be done before the flowers.

3. 03

   Collect 9 Spider Lilies

   They spawn at night around lakes, the swamp, Bamboo Grove, Mistfall Harbor, and near the Water trainee. Red and blue both count. If a public server is picked clean, hop servers and check the same spots.

4. 04

   Drink Muzan's Blood

   Both objectives grant the item. Use it from inventory. You should see Title unlocked: Demon, and reputation resets. Demon Progress starts at 1.
